Colombian Spanish (español colombiano) is a collective name for the diverse Spanish varieties spoken in Colombia rather than a single uniform accent. Linguists commonly distinguish broad highland and lowland groupings, with important regional varieties including Bogotá or Cundiboyacense, Paisa, Valluno, Caribbean coastal, Pacific coastal, and Llanero speech. Seseo is general, while yeísmo is widespread but historically less complete in some Andean areas; Caribbean varieties often weaken or aspirate syllable-final /s/, whereas many highland varieties preserve it. Voseo is well established in regions such as Antioquia and the Cauca Valley, and patterns of tú, vos, and usted vary greatly by region and social relationship. Written Colombian Spanish follows the shared international Spanish orthography, while pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary, and forms of address express strong regional identities.
